Below is a breakdown of our 4 most popular packages. Our Basic, our Basic & Advanced, 2 week Board & Train and our Dog Reactivity and Aggression Private Lesson Package. The board and train is typically booked 2-5 months out year round. For the private lessons, they are typically booked a 1 to 12 weeks in advance depending on the days you are looking to book lessons on. Once we take payment, we will send you a confirmation email with a scheduling link where you can book all of your lessons in advance. 

Our client’s dogs will be trained to have the same level of obedience as most police/military working dogs. This style of training encompasses the core beliefs and philosophy of consistency, fairness, and crystal clear communication that will turn any dog into a well-behaved member of society in any situation. 100% obedience, 100% Off Leash!

What we enjoy most is seeing dogs that have spent their whole life on a leash, now being 100% Off-Leash and obedient! We thrive off of seeing the joy in both the dogs’ and the owners’ face when they have mastered a new command without the restriction of a leash.

The Basic Obedience Package

This includes the Off-Leash K9 Training E-Collar which all of our dogs are trained on, a 15 foot leash, and includes all FOUR lessons for $700 you save by paying for everything up-front! The e-collar we use has a two-year warranty, it is completely waterproof, and it has a range of 1/2 mile (880 yards)! This will be brought to your first lesson along with the 15-foot leash! By the end of this package, your dog will be able to be outside, off-leash, with distractions listening on command.

Basic Obedience Curriculum

• “Come,” “Sit,” and “Extended Sit.”
• “Down” and “Extended Down.”
• “Place” and “Extended Place.” They will sit on a specific location that you point to (chair, park bench, etc)
• “Out or Leave It” To drop any and all things you ask them to.
• “Heel” and “Loose Leash Walking.” They will walk right beside of you on a leash. Depending on how much time you practice with the leash on will determine when you will be capable of heeling off leash. The first step is on leash heeling.
• “Off.” Off = No, for any unwanted behavior. Do not jump on me or anyone else.

**Extended sit, down, and place means your dog will REMAIN in the down, sit, or place position until YOU tell them to “break” (release them) or give them another command to follow.

Lessons are once per week, or a minimum of 7 days between lessons, for both the 4 lesson basic obedience package and the 8 lesson basic & advanced package. They are all private lessons, you would work with your dog for 30-45 minutes minimum per day between lessons on whatever you worked on with our trainer at the prior lesson. Each lesson is one hour. We have nights and weekends available. Mostly early evening/afternoon as well as lesson openings on Saturday and Sunday.

Basic and Advanced Obedience Package

This package is for those who really want their dog to be rock-stars! This includes 8 lessons for $1,100 you save by paying for the Basic Obedience Package and 4 Advanced lessons up-front! The e-collar we use has a two-year warranty, it is completely waterproof, and it has a range of 1/2 mile (880 yards)! This will be ready at your first lesson along with the 15-foot leash! This package includes all of the commands listed above as well as extended range “sits”, “downs”, sits and downs in motion at a distance and then 3 lessons of ala carte commands that you get to pick. Some of the options are “touch”, “watch”, “through”, “come to heel”, “load up” and door manners or advanced door manners.

Lessons 1 through 4 of the 8 week package are identical to the 4 Week Basic Obedience Package listed above:

• “Come,” “Sit,” and “Extended Sit.”
• “Down” and “Extended Down.”
• “Place” and “Extended Place.” They will sit on a specific location that you point to (chair, park bench, etc)

 2 Week Board and Train Program

This is a very popular program and is usually booked for a few months in advance, so please contact us before paying online or trying to schedule an appointment for this. This is where you drop off your dog, and 2-weeks later you pick up a dog that is flawless outside, off-leash, with distractions! See our YouTube channel for numerous board and train before/after videos! (Board and Train Cost is $3,250, includes boarding, training, e-collar and leader—customer supplies their own dog food, treats, one toy and either a blanket or dog bed. Last 2 are not required but it’s nice to have something that smells like home with them in their new temporary OLK9 home)

This 2-week program is a program which focuses on practical, everyday obedience that is completed with a high level of precision, outside, off-leash, with distractions! This program provides a little bit of everything, including manners and socialization (dogs and people). All behaviors are taught with high-level distraction proofing.

This program offers the following:

• Sit and Extended Sit (Dog remains in position until released)
• Down and Extended Down
• Loose Leash and Off-Leash Walking
• Come on command (outside, off-leash, with distractions)
• Greeting Manners (not jumping)
• Waiting politely at doors and gates (wait when they are opened until you release them)
• Waiting politely for meals (wait until they are released)
• Training with distractions (dogs, people and environmental distractions)
• Place and Extended Place (Jump up and sit on any object you point to on command and stay there until released)
• Heel Command (off-leash, will come around the right side of your body and sit down right beside of your left leg).

The total price of this 2-week intensive package $3,250 (It is $1,200 down to lock in dates, the balance is due 2 Weeks/14 Days before the drop off unless you opt for a payment plan).

After completion of the training, the owner will be provided with a 2.5-4 hour one-on-one session called our “turnover”, which will detail everything their companion does, how to handle them, and how to properly communicate with them.

This program also includes the 15’ leader and E-Collar.

Please also keep in mind you aren’t just paying for 2-weeks of training, you are paying for a LIFETIME of training. All of board and trains get Free refreshers for the life of your dog, and these refreshers are transferable between OLK9 locations. In order for the refreshers to apply you must attend the follow up lessons that will occur 2 weeks after the turnover day. (the day you pick up your dog from the program)

Dog Reactivity and Aggression Training Package

Does your dog have issues with dog aggression, dog reactivity, or simply go over the top when it comes to other dogs being around? If so, this is a specially designed program may be the best option for you and your dog. This 9 private lesson program is $1,300 (or $600 down and 4 monthly payments of $201), which consists of 9 total lessons spaced out over a minimum of 9 weeks, the first lesson is a consult where we will deep dive into all of your dogs issues, your daily routines and tell you what we will be doing for the next 8 weeks and what changes you will need to be making in and out of your home to give your dog the proper structure needed to make the necessary changes. In other words manage your expectations properly so that you understand the work that you will have to do at home with your dog and so that we fully understand what triggers your dog has as well as fully understand what we are dealing with. The next 4 weeks (Weeks 2-5) is the same as the first 4 weeks of our basic obedience package (4 lessons/5 commands) which will give you a solid foundation of control over your dog, just like the dogs you see in our 800+ videos on our YouTube Channel. Then, we spend the next 4 lessons working you and your dog around other dogs (or whatever your dog is aggressive or reactive towards) in different scenarios, commands, and situations. Giving your dog (and you) the skills, tools, obedience, and desensitization that is necessary in order to put you back in control of these situations. No one can guarantee that your dog will like other dogs or people but with the obedience locked down you will have the tools to manage your dog and continue the confidence and stability building through the end of the 9 lesson program. Having said that, we have had many dogs come through the program that make a 180 degree turn, most of those cases are because we are lucky to have dedicated clients that work with their dogs between lessons and follow the plan that we have laid out for them. In some cases it is necessary for your dog to be muzzled, in these cases you will need to follow our muzzle training guidelines before the next lesson. We have other options where we use you as a proxy handler while our trainer tells you exactly what to do every step of the way, this would only work if your dog is not aggressive towards you though. We hold safety of our trainers, our clients and our dogs in high regard so in the case your dog is aggressive towards strangers (i.e. possibly our trainer at the first lesson) you should make this known before you book the first lesson so that we can give you the muzzle training guidelines ahead of time so that by the time you come to the first lesson your dog is muzzle trained. It does not take that long and can be done at home if you follow the plan.
